- “Congratulations. You've discovered the "description" section for the 'How To' videos. This is the section were we presume some sort of description is suppose to take place. But, unfortunately we're not really that good at typing long drawn out descriptions of things. That's kind of why we make videos - so we don't have to type. We don't even really know where most symbols on a keyboard are. Really. You know those little dots things? You know, the dot things that go above letters when you're speaking Dutch? We have no idea how to make that happen. Not that we plan on speaking Dutch or anything. Just saying.”

How To: was an Achievement Hunter series starring Joel Heyman, Adam Ellis, Jeremy Dooley, Matt Bragg. The series officially premiered on February 6, 2014, it's debut date. From playing games where you play as bread to actually being a giant piece of bread, How To was an awesome show. Hosted mainly by Joel Heyman and Adam Ellis, this was a show where they would play games and do stupid things like Taze people and go to an abandoned building to play Outlast. It was great to see Joel’s goofy style of comedy in more achievement hunter videos and a great introduction to Adam Ellis. The series also had a period where Matt Bragg and Jeremy Dooley became their side guests and that also made for some great videos.
After two full years, Achievement Hunter announced the cancellation of the series on May 9, 2016. The series was officially concluded and ended up being cancelled on May 10, 2016 because Adam Ellis was ramping up work on the tech side of Rooster Teeth and didn’t have as much time to dedicate to just making a video series. With Adam having to focus more on his new role as System Administrator, the series ended up being retied and moved to the past shows section.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- In most games Joel is usually akin to his Red vs. Blue character Caboose (to the point he mispronounced The Ship as The Shop), while Adam has a more Ryan Haywood-oriented persona spliced with paranoia (killing anyone regardless of if they were his target, hunter, or an innocent bystander out of fear they would kill him during The Ship).
- Hot To: GMod Murder ended up being a training ground for Jeremy's eventual promotion to main Achievement Hunter, fitting with Jeremy being AH's GMod Guy.
