CGP Grey was an African Penguin, born in Bristol Zoo in Bristol, UK. She was named after CGP Grey in honor of the Hello Internet charity event in which tickets to see Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope with David Prowse, the actor who played Darth Vader, were auctioned off to support the zoo.[1] In "H.I. #82: God of Bees", Brady announced that CGP Grey the penguin had died while being sent with several other animals to Tbilisi Zoo in Tbilisi, Georgia, in order to repopulate the zoo after a flood. CGP Grey's official zoo ID and wing tag numbers were 131471 and A20583, respectively.
