Aleksandr Vitalyevich Tchernev-Marchant, better known as Aleks or by his screen name ImmortalHD, is a Russian born Let's Player, YouTuber, and co-founder of the comedy and gaming channel, Cow Chop. He is a member of the Let's Play family and an affliate with Rooster Teeth Productions.

Aleks was born and raised in Russia until age eight. He immigrated into the United States where he was adopted and grew up in Templeton, Massachusetts. He later went on to move to Littleton, Colorado, eventually working for The Creatures. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California working for Cow Chop.

Career[edit | edit source]

Aleks started his current YouTube channel in December 2008, where he primarily uploads gaming videos.

Aleks was first jokingly inducted into The Creatures, a hub channel that produced videos relating to gaming and comedy sketches, after a misinterpreted gag at The Creatures RTX 2013 panel. He was made an official member soon after however. Aleks made multiple appearances in their content before he became a main host.

At one point he produced content for Machinima.

Within Rooster Teeth[edit | edit source]

Aleks, along with The Creatures, joined as affiliates to Rooster Teeth, becoming members of the Let's Play family on April 4, 2016. Due to creative differences, Aleks, James, and several other then-Creatures broke off and formed Cow Chop, a Let's Play and comedy channel later that same month. Cow Chop would then go on to become a member of the Let's Play family as well. It was during this time Aleks officially announced his departure from The Creatures.

Aleks has made several appearances on Rooster Teeth and Let's Play content. He has hosted panels at RTX, competed on On The Spot, and has appeared on Let's Play family group videos.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • He is bilingual with Russian being his native language.
