Stan attended Liberty University from 2010-2014 where he earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia. He married his partner Mikaela, on May 31, 2014.

Before his employment at Rooster Teeth, Stan was a competitor on season two of The Gauntlet where he was runner up.
Stan started working at Rooster Teeth in May 2015. He works as an assistant editor for RWBY, Red vs. Blue, and RWBY Chibi.
He has also made appearances on RT's Anime Podcast, Fan Service, as well as Extra Life, and On The Spot.
