The Language of Bromance is a weekly podcast featuring Richard and his long-time friend Shawn, although guests are occasionally featured. Released every Sunday night, the episodes are generally one hour in length and feature Richard and Shawn discussing weird stories, funny events in history and other non-sequitur topics.

On Language of Bromance episodes that end in a 3 or an 8 the duo turn to foes in their special draft Episodes. The Drafts are NFL style 7 rounds where the Bros take turns picking things from topics like pop culture, movies, superheroes, and a number of other topics. In the Spring the podcast will review the annual San Diego Comic Con news in episodes titled Hall LOB. Around Halloween the podcast will cover scary and weird stories as part of their Brolloween themed episode. The last episode of the year the Podcast invites John from the Podbros Network to preview the next year in their Bro Huddle themed episode.

The name was derived from a conversation between Richard's wife during the weeks leading up to the start of the podcast[1]. During the conversation Richard mentioned that he wanted to incorporate Bromance in the title of the podcast. This led to the creation of the name Language of Bromance. Other titles originally suggested "Fight the Yeti", "Bromance in Space" and "Viral Audio".

The podcast is distributed through LanguageOfBromance.com and the RSS feed every Sunday Morning around 3AM. Language of Bromance has released a new episode every Sunday since June 21, 2014. On October 18th, 2014 the Language of Bromance joined the Podbros Network.[2] The Podbros Network closed around 2019 resulting in The Language of Bromance no longer being part of a Podcast Network.

On January 21, 2018 Shawn released a Audio Book based on an episode of Language of Bromance called Episode 187 Zombie Bears The Audio Book based on Episode 02 Hey Zombie Bear.[3]
