Keepin' it 1600 was an American political podcast, co-hosted by Jon Favreau, Tommy Vietor, Jon Lovett, and Daniel Pfeiffer, former advisers to Barack Obama.[1][2][3][4][5]

The podcast began in March 2016 during the US presidential primaries with weekly episodes hosted by Jon Favreau and Daniel Pfeiffer.[6] The original focus was almost exclusively on the United States presidential election, 2016, but it went on to cover the Trump Administration with bi-weekly episodes. The podcast appeared as a livestream show on both Periscope and Facebook Live for their coverage of the presidential debates and November 8, 2016, the night of the presidential election.[7][8] There was a crossover podcast with Chuck Todd for the 1947: Meet the Press Podcast in December 2016.[9] The show had a variety of running jokes, including the prevention of politically induced "bedwetting", a segment called "Says Who?", and the advocacy of the belief that Jon Lovett is a "Straight Shooter Widely Respected on Both Sides"[10] and was part of The Ringer Podcast Network. The hosts are all members of the Democratic Party, but the podcast has had Democrats, Republicans, and journalists on as guests, including Savannah Guthrie, Alyssa Mastromonaco, Elizabeth Meriwether, Thomas Perez, Kal Penn, Jake Tapper, David Plouffe, Robert Gibbs, Keith Ellison, Ana Navarro, and Evan McMullin.[11] The podcast was rated as one of the best podcasts of 2016 by publications such as The Atlantic, GQ, and Entertainment Weekly.[12][13][14]

Keepin' it 1600 ended in December 2016, but later continued in an identical format with the same hosts under the name Pod Save America, on the hosts' own Crooked Media network.[15]
