Joey attended the University of Texas at Austin from 2003-2009 where he received a Double Bachelor's Degree in Radio, Television and Film as well as in Advertising.
He went on to earning a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from the Texas A&M International University, attending from 2010-2013.

Within Rooster Teeth[edit | edit source]
During his career with Rooster Teeth, Joey acted as a host and producer for RT's entertainment and news channel, The Know.
Joey also helped launch and co-hosted the film/TV podcast, Screen Play.
Post Rooster Teeth[edit | edit source]
Following his departure from Rooster Teeth, Joey worked as a producer and editor for The CW Austin, Austin, Texas' local comedy TV show. He worked as a producer from April 2015 to February 2016.
