Captain Dynamic

Captain Dynamic was an American Rooster Teeth Live action brief 3-part miniseries created by Rooster Teeth Productions when the company first ventured into Live action production in January 2009, featuring a "super hero" of the same name starring Ed Robertson of Barenaked Ladies. It was directed by Burnie Burns, Matt Hullum and Jason Saldaña. It was created to advertise, promote and is based on the NCSoft game 'City of Heroes' from NCSoft.[1] It was based around a team of writers who is hired to use the new in-game content creation tools to promote the title character, Captain Dynamic, the 'worst superhero in the world'. Directed by Matt Hullum and written by Burnie Burns, the series starred Ed Robertson of the Barenaked Ladies, who is a long time friend and fan of Rooster Teeth. A number of Rooster Teeth employees were present throughout the series, notably Joel Heyman as Captain Dynamic's primary writer. Actor Shannon McCormick appears as the series' antagonist, Great Face[2] The series also led to the release of an iPhone app called the Awesome Button.[3]
