Austin is known at ScrewAttack for being a hard worker and one of the more reserved members of the team despite being friendly and outgoing at live events.

Austin received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) of General Studies in Service Merchandising and Hospitality Management, Business Management, and Communications from the University of North Texas, attending from 2006-2011.

He currently resides in Austin, Texas.

Career[edit | edit source]

Austin first joined ScrewAttack in 2014 after leaving a long career in the restaurant industry as the manager of a Red Lobster in Roswell, New Mexico. He was brought on as an assistant merchandiser under his childhood friends Sam Mitchell and Chad James before quickly being promoted to many different roles.

After a brief period as the editor for Top 10's, Austin became project manager for the ScrewAttack Games brand and produced Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U and Angry Video Game Nerd: ASSimilation for Steam. Recently Austin was promoted to executive producer of ScrewAttack and has assisted with the events management of SGC 2014-2016 as well as the late night programming of RTX 2017. He has co-hosted multiple episodes of ScrewAttack Live and Sidescrollers and makes random appearances in ScrewAttack's sponsorship advertisements.

Austin is also the manager of the Texas based video game inspired rock band, Werewolf Therewolf.
